Q: What types of wood are available?

A: We mostly produce our boards with Yellow Birch which has a nice blend of hardness of the wood, unique color and grains, and most importantly, with proper maintenance, Yellow Birch will remain sanitized and food safe for years to come.  We also use Hard Maple for our chopping blocks and we've seen large growth with our Tri-Color blend which has Maple, Cherry and Walnut.

Q: How thick are your boards?

A: The Yellow Birch and Tri-Color are 3/4 of an inch thick, with the exception of the small paddle, which is 1/2 of an inch thick. The Hard Maple is just over an inch thick.

Q: How much does the logo branding cost?

A: Logo branding with the Smead Woodcraft brand is free of charge and included with all orders.  If you'd like to have the boards branded with your logo this can be added at .40 per board.  We can assist you with the process to order a brand head at your cost.  Based on the size of the brand you purchase it can run a couple of hundred dollars as a onetime charge.  We will hold onto the brand, but it is yours and can be shipped to you at any time.  If interested reach out to us via phone or email for additional information.

Q: How do I place an order?

A: There are multiple ways to place an order with Smead Woodcraft.  To place an order, you can request an order form with prices from us via phone, text or email.  Our phone number is 802-546-2662 and our email is support@smeadwoodcraft.com.  After viewing the price sheet, you can order via phone, text or email as well. Once an order is placed, we'll confirm that we've received it and provide a timeline for production and shipment.  Most orders can be completed and shipped within 2 weeks from the order placed date.

Q: Is there a minimum order amount?

A: Since we are a wholesaler, we require an order minimum of $100 and at least 3 units per item ordered.
